    Neighborhood Programs in the Mt. Pleasant area

    Mt. Pleasant NOW Development Corporation works to provide residents with services that are designed to assist in maintaining their homes, as well as with those who are interested in learning the home buying process. These services include the Paint Program, done in conjunction with the City of Cleveland, and available to income-eligible households to enhance the exterior of their homes; Home Weatherization services that provide various levels of energy efficiency and related cost savings to eligible applicants; Credit Education Workshops are hosted by Mt. Pleasant NOW and include lending entity representatives who can provide individual consultation by appointment. Mt. Pleasant NOW also participates in a Community Outreach Program which works with existing street clubs, residents, the 4th District Police, and other community focused entities to address issues that impact the quality of life in our neighborhood. Electrical Partnership Program (EPP) focuses on reducing electrical energy use for eletric PIPP client. The program replaces light bulbs and refrigerators that use excess energy. We also offer Home Ownership and Home Maintenance workshops.
